Wine Country Lavender is a family-owned and operated lavender farm in the Hunter Valley, NSW, producing a range of high-quality lavender-based products, including skincare, culinary items, essential oils and agritourism supporting sustainable practices.
Our farm is located between Singleton and Branxton in the beautiful Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia. Set on 21 acres and natural surroundings, with the convenience of being 8 minutes out of town, 15 minutes to the closest winery, and 25 minutes to Hermitage Road with a wide selection of wineries, restaurants, spa and all the Hunter Valley has to offer!
Lavender essential oil is commonly used for relaxation, skincare, and aromatherapy, popularly used in diffusers (particularly the Lavandula angustifolia variety), or blended in creams, balms, and fragrances*.
Lavender is known for its calming properties, aiding relaxation and stress relief. Various studies have reported that lavender essential oil may be beneficial in a variety of conditions, including insomnia, alopecia (hair loss), anxiety, stress, and postoperative pain. Other studies are also being studied for antibacterial and antiviral properties of lavender.
